Welcome to Brunel University Swimming Team homepage. In here you will find all the most up to date information and recent news for the swimming team.
At the moment Brunel is using a local boy’s school at Windsor.
It’s an indoor pool 4 lanes x 25m. Not big, but enough for training. Thankfully, the Student Union provides minibus for us, therefore, you do not need to travel to there on your own. You just need to meet us at the meeting point on campus!
For the swimming team structure at the moment, we have 3 competitive lanes and 1 non-competitive lane. We swim Tuesday to Thursday and we have a free circuit training session on Monday. In January 2010, a swimming pool will be built 15 minutes walk from campus. It will be an Olympic Pool 25mx50m. We believe that once we’re using the Olympic Pool, the swimming team of Brunel 
should become more competitive and more members will be joining the team (we have about 45 members at the moment, which is not a big club or a small one!)
Everyone thinks swimming is a very tiring sport and can be very competitive, it is true but it’s only a part of it. In Brunel, we socialise a lot too! So come and join us and we’ll train hard and party hard!!! If you’re a casual swimmer, you’re welcome to join us too!
